Lyonbiopole is actively involved in the organization of the BIOVISION event, the World Life Science Forum. This year edition will take place in Lyon (France) on June 05-06, 2014.
 
The event is divided in 2 parts:

• BIOVISION Catalyzer: to showcase innovative collaborative projects;
• BIOVISION INVESTOR Conference: to connect start-ups and mid-sized businesses with financial and industrial partners through a series of discussions and meetings.

 
BIOVISION Catalyzer highlights
Two sessions will provide increased exposure for selected projects in the fields of “Vaccines and Immunotherapies” and “Healthy Ageing” and offer new opportunities to meet with potential multi-stakeholder partners.
Applications to participate in BIOVISION Catalyzer 2014 are open until Mid-April 2014:

• You are a project holder, please contact us or one of our partner organizations and submit your application;
• You or people in your network know of initiatives seeking partners and support: spread the word.

BIOVISION INVESTOR Conference highlights
Dedicated to funding for innovative businesses, it will connect start-ups and mid-sized businesses with financial and industrial partners through a series of discussions and meetings.
The conference will include business pitches before a panel of international investors. Thus, the best Biotech, Medtech and e-Health companies seeking funds within 15 to 18 months – selected by a committee co-chaired this year by Tim Haines, a partner at Abingworth (London, UK) and Alexia Pérouse, Co-Head of Venture Capital and Partner at Omnès Capital (Paris, France) – will introduce their respective businesses at two dedicated sessions.
Companies must submit their application before March 31^st, 2014. No fee is required when submitting an application
